ABOUT     I am currently an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Cooper Union. I earned my B.A. from Wellesley College in 2014 and my Ph.D. in mathematics from Rutgers University in 2019 under the direction of Jeff Kahn. My research interests broadly lie in discrete mathematics, including both combinatorics and graph theory (see the research section for more details).

I regularly teach various courses in the foundational mathematics core here at Cooper Union in addition to Discrete Math. I have also created a new course, Graph Theory, which expands on the graph theory topics discussed in Discrete Math. In all of my courses I am dedicated to creating a welcoming and structured environment where students can grow not only in their mathematical knowledge, but also their critical thinking and communication skills. I consistently work to incorporate and constantly adjust my use of innovative pedagogies, particularly around assessment, into my courses.

In addition, I continue to oversee the math tutoring program at Cooper Union. If you are a undergraduate at Cooper please feel free to reach out if you would like to be paired with a tutor for one of your math courses or if you have any questions on applying to work for the math department as a tutor or grader.

Outside of Cooper I continue to co-organize the New York Combinatorics Seminar, a weekly seminar in combinatorics organized by faculty across the area. Please feel free to reach out if you are interested in speaking at the seminar!
